CALL FOR ABSTRACTS OF WORK IN PROGRESS We welcome project proposals of works in progress that engage continental feminist theory and work done on major figures and themes from the continental feminist tradition, as well as feminist work inspired by continental philosophy more generally. We also strongly encourage interdisciplinary and innovative approaches that combine theoretical perspectives and situated reflections. This year, we especially welcome abstracts on this theme: Cross-Examining Now: Intersections of Gender, Race and Class.
Traditionally, philoSOPHIA is organized into workshop groups where each participant has 20 minutes to present their work and 30 minutes for discussion. Abstracts should be approximately 750 words and should be submitted electronically in .rtf format to submissions or through the philoSOPHIA website no later than December 15, 2008.
