FIU, a Doctoral/Research Extensive university, offers over 200 academic programs in 12 Schools and Colleges and enrolls over 38,000 students. Women’s Studies offers a B.A., undergraduate and graduate certificates, and is working toward a Master’s program (http://wstudies.fiu.edu). Applicants must have a Ph.D. and a strong record of scholarly publishing. Responsibilities include development of funded interdisciplinary and/or disciplinary research; teaching courses at the undergraduate and graduate level; and participation in an active community of feminist scholars. Applicants interested in serving as Director should have significant administrative experience, as well as experience in program building and advancement.
