The Department of Philosophy at Brandon University is seeking to fill one (1) two-year term position at the rank of Assistant Professor.
A completed Ph.D. in Philosophy is preferred. The area of research specialization is open.
The successful candidate will be expected to teach undergraduate courses in Ancient and Early Modern Philosophy.
The ability to teach courses in Ethics and Critical Thinking will be considered an asset. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellence in teaching,
will have an active research profile, and will be willing to participate collegially in the life of the university.
Rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications and experience. Preferred start date is 1 August 2018.
