The Department of Philosophy, School of Social Sciences and Philosophy at Trinity College, Dublin, is seeking to appoint an Assistant Professor in Philosophy. Applications are particularly welcome from the subfields of analytic metaphysics and philosophy of language.
Applicants will be expected to possess a PhD in Philosophy and a sound research profile, relative to career stage, in their area of specialisation. The successful applicant will be expected to contribute to both undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, including the design and coordination of general modules for first and second-year students and specialised, research-led modules for honors students, and dissertation supervision at all levels.
