The University of Michigan-Dearborn Philosophy Discipline seeks a tenure-track Assistant Professor beginning September 1, 2017. Ph.D. in hand by August 2017. Area of Specialization: 19th and 20th Century Continental Philosophy. Area of Concentration: Feminist History of Philosophy, including Modern Philosophy; or Philosophy of Race, or Philosophy of the Body. Teaching responsibilities include Introduction to Philosophy and/or Critical Thinking and upper level courses in the candidate’s areas of specialization. Evidence of both scholarly promise and evidence of excellence in teaching required.
