University of Memphis, Dept of Philosophy, TWO tenure track Assistant

The Department of Philosophy at the University of Memphis invites applications for two tenure-track Assistant Professor positions to begin Fall 2016, pending availability of funds. Area of specialization (AOS): one or more of Africana Philosophy/Philosophy of Race, Feminist Philosophy, Modern Philosophy, Philosophy of Mind/Phenomenology, Social & Political Philosophy. Area of competence (AOC): open. The Department has a long-standing commitment to work from diverse approaches, including philosophy in the analytic and continental traditions.
