The University of West Georgia Philosophy Program invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor position beginning August 2016. AOS/AOC: Ancient/Medieval Philosophy and/or Philosophy of Religion. Three-three teaching load includes lower-division courses (e.g., Introduction to Philosophy) and upper-division courses related to candidate’s AOS/AOC. Non-teaching duties include research and normal service responsibilities. Salary competitive. Semester calendar. Possible summer teaching.

Candidates must have Ph.D. in philosophy at time of appointment. Candidates must demonstrate excellence in undergraduate teaching. AA/EOE. Background check required for successful candidate. Applications must be received by November 20, 2015. Interviews will be conducted via Skype in January.
