The Philosophy Department at Oakland University invites applications for a Full-time Adjunct Instructor of Philosophy to begin Fall 2015. AOS: Open; there is no expectation of research for this position. AOC: Engineering Ethics. The department has special teaching needs in ethics and applied ethics, including engineering ethics. Teaching load is 6 courses/year, at least 3 of which will be an ethics course for engineering students. There is a possibility of upper-division teaching and summer teaching, according to departmental need. This position comes with an initial two-year contract, with the subsequent possibility of indefinitely renewable five-year contracts.
