The Philosophy Department at Bentley University (Waltham, MA) invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track/tenured position. Assistant Professor strongly preferred but exceptional candidates at the Associate or Full Professor level will be considered. Start date: Fall 2015. The successful candidate will be an outstanding teacher and researcher, willing to contribute to the activities of the department and university. Salary and teaching load are competitive. AOS: Ethics, broadly construed so as to include normative ethics, applied ethics, metaethics, moral psychology, and political philosophy. AOC: Open, but an ability and willingness to teach courses in applied ethics preferred.
