The Philosophy Program of the Department of History and Philosophy at Eastern Michigan University seeks to fill a newly created tenure-track position at the assistant professor level in Social Epistemology, to start Fall 2014. In addition to creating and teaching undergraduate and graduate courses related to social epistemology, the successful candidate will also contribute to EMU’s vibrant General Education curriculum.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Philosophy (ABD considered) and be willing to participate in departmental, college, and university committee work. Evidence of active scholarship is necessary. Experience teaching at a university or college with a diverse student population is desirable.
