The Department of Philosophy at the University of Washington in Seattle invites applications for an Assistant Professor, tenure-track, full-time, beginning September 2014. Area of Specialization: Social epistemology including, but not limited to, feminist approaches. Area of Competence: Open. Normal course load is four courses per year over three quarters, ranging from introductory undergraduate to graduate level (with the opportunity to teach online courses). Duties include dissertation supervision and departmental and university service. Candidates must have Ph.D. or foreign equivalent, prior to appointment. Salary and benefits competitive.
