Tenure-Track Position: in Epistemology or Philosophy of Language, effective Fall 2014
Rank: Assistant Professor

Requirements: Ph.D. in Philosophy, or all doctoral requirements completed by 8/1/14. Demonstrated potential for publishing research.
AOS/AOC: AOS in Epistemology or Philosophy of Language. AOC in Philosophy of Science, and/or the ability to teach an ethics/values in science and technology course, a plus.

Duties include teaching in the M.A., B.A., and General Education programs, scholarly research, with high-quality publication expected, and important roles in supervising master's theses, advising, committee service, and curricular development. The University provides opportunities for support of both research and teaching projects. We value collaborative work among philosophers and with scholars in other fields.

The Department of Philosophy offers two B.A. degrees (in Philosophy and in Philosophy and Religion) and the M.A. degree (in Philosophy), a Pre-Law emphasis, and a rich array of courses.
