Wheelock College invites applications for an open rank position in Political Science and Global Studies beginning September 1, 2013 with the hire at the tenure-track Assistant Professor or Associate level. Preference will be given to candidates with a Ph. D in Political Science or a closely related field that combines Public Policy, Global Studies and Political Science, at least several years of post-doctoral experience, and a significant publication and research record. We seek a candidate who can provide strong leadership for the growth of a new major in Political Science and Global Studies and can teach core courses in Gender and Politics, Political Science and Global Politics, Public Policy and Politics, and courses in the candidate’s area of specialization. The successful candidate will have experience in global policy and advocacy, multi-disciplinary approaches to building programs, including internships, and strengthening institutional collaboration.
