California State University, Fresno, CA, Assistant Professor, tenure-track, beginning Fall semester, 2013. Eight courses/year (4/semester; typically 2-3 preps), undergraduate level. Usual nonteaching duties. AOS: Epistemology (very broadly construed); AOC: Cognitive science, history of modern or philosophy of law. An earned doctorate (Ph.D.) in Philosophy is required by time of appointment. Candidates are expected to demonstrate a commitment to and potential for teaching excellence and scholarly activity at the university level. The successful candidate must have the ability to work effectively with faculty, staff and students from diverse ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds. The faculty is committed to achieving excellence through diversity, and such skills are desired in applicants. EO/AAE.
