Florida Gulf Coast University, Fort Myers, FL. Assistant Professor, continuing multiyear appointment beginning August 2012. AOS: Open. Will teach core and elective courses
in philosophy (e.g., logic, epistemology, and ethics) in an interdisciplinary and pluralistic
B.A. program, as well as general education courses in the philosophy of human
communication. 3/3 load. Successful candidate will have teaching competencies and
research interests that bridge continental and analytic approaches, either in the philosophy of
language or in ethics; broad teaching range and fluency in the history of philosophy a must.
Will take on service and scholarly activities appropriate to rank. Ph.D. required (ABD
