University of Alberta, Philosophy, Killam Memorial Postdoc

The Department of Philosophy, University of Alberta, invites applications for a Killam Memorial Postdoctoral Fellowship, tenable for two years, starting May 1, 2012 at the earliest, and valued at $46, 000 per annum, plus benefits and a $4000 travel/research grant. This is a research position, but some teaching for additional remuneration is possible if the Fellow so desires. Fellowships are awarded in a University-wide competition. Citizenship and research area are open. Candidates should have received the Ph.D. no more than three years before assuming the fellowship and should not currently hold a faculty position or have already held a major postdoctoral fellowship.

Send applications, including application form, a statement (maximum one page) describing your proposed research and another statement (maximum two pages) describing your research experience, CV, sample of written work, and three letters of reference to:
