The Philosophy Program of the Department of History and Philosophy at Eastern Michigan University seeks to fill a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level. AOS: Ethics. Competence in some area of applied ethics is necessary; ability to teach environmental ethics is strongly preferred.

This is a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor. 12 hours per semester. Competitive salary and benefits. Applicants must be willing to participate in departmental, college, and university committee work. Evidence of active scholarship is necessary. Experience teaching large classes with diverse students is highly desirable.
