The Philosophy Department at Binghamton University, The State University of New York. invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Philosophy, tenure-track, beginning Fall semester 2011. Applications from advanced assistant professors are welcome. AOS: Philosophy of Law. AOC: Open. Normal teaching load is 2 courses per semester. The successful candidate will offer both undergraduate and graduate courses in the philosophy of law, and will participate in the University’s interdisciplinary undergraduate major in Philosophy, Politics and Law and the Philosophy Department’s doctoral program in Social, Political, Ethical, and Legal Philosophy. Thesis supervision, usual non-teaching duties.
