St. Mary’s College of Maryland at Historic St. Mary’s City is accepting applications for a one-year position as Visiting Assistant Professor of Philosophy, beginning in August 2010. We seek individuals who are committed to teaching undergraduates in a public liberal arts setting. AOS: Ethics. AOC: Environmental Ethics or Feminist Philosophy. Completed Ph.D.’s preferred. Ability to teach logic and analytic tradition desired. Teaching load: three courses per semester. The ideal candidate will teach Environmental Ethics, Introduction to Philosophy, Feminism and Philosophy, and Ethical Theories. Women and ethnic minorities are strongly encouraged to apply.
