Loyola University Chicago (LUC), College of Arts and Sciences, Department of Philosophy invites applications for a tenure-track appointment at the level of Assistant Professor, beginning Fall Semester 2010. The area of specialization is phenomenology; the area of competence is open. Ph.D. preferred. Candidates should expect to serve the department’s needs in phenomenology at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, teach courses in the core curriculum, and assume additional duties as assigned by the chairperson (committee work, thesis supervision, etc.). The position becomes effective August 1, 2010 subject to final approval of funding. Information about the department is available at Philosophy.
