The University of Calgary invites applications for a Chair in Business Ethics. This is an externally funded chair, based in the Department of Philosophy. The appointment will be for a three year term at the rank of Assistant Professor. The candidates are expected to have a PhD in philosophy with training in ethics and research interests in business ethics broadly defined ( for example, issues of economic justice, corporate social responsibility, and environmental concerns). The Chair will provide a focus for integration of research and teaching in ethics with broader issues of public policy and ethical concerns of the private sector. Teaching duties include undergraduate and graduate instruction as well as graduate supervision.
