The Philosophy Department at the University of Minnesota invites applications for
2. position in philosophy of religion. Tenure-track, assistant professor; full-time, 9-month, beginning August 31, 2009. Ph.D. in philosophy or related field required for appointment. Area of Specialization: philosophy of religion. Area of Competence: open. We seek a first-rate philosopher with interests that complement existing and emerging strengths in the Philosophy Department and the College. Interdisciplinary work with other departments and programs is desirable, e.g. participation in new Religious Studies Program. Responsibilities: undergraduate and graduate teaching and advising, including philosophy dissertation supervision; regular departmental duties.
