The Philosophy Program of the Department of History and Philosophy at Eastern Michigan University seeks to fill a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level in Philosophy of Law/Political Philosophy. Demonstrated competence in and a strong interest in teaching Feminist Philosophy is necessary. This is a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor. 12 hours per semester. Competitive salary and benefits. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Philosophy (ABD considered) and be willing to participate in departmental, college, and university committee work. Evidence of active scholarship is necessary. Experience teaching large classes with diverse students is highly desirable.
