Please join us for our first AGM since 2019! Our meeting agenda follows below.

Since this will be a remote meeting (on Zoom – link above), we wanted to share some important details.

It’s been a long time! We’re looking forward to this meeting. Please attend if you can! - No mic and/or camera? No problem. Come with whatever tech you have! - Unsure about how to connect with a phone? General Zoom questions or connection questions during the meeting? Vanessa has volunteered to help. Contact her at vlehan@yorku.ca. - Wondering about accessibility provisions for this meeting? Want to make an access request for the meeting? Contact Anna at anna.mudde@uregina.ca.

A few basics: - Please feel free to participate in a way that feels comfortable: either by speaking, by typing into the chat (more below), or by listening/reading captions. - When you join the Zoom link above, you'll be in a waiting room. We'll know that you're there! - When you come into the Zoom meeting, your microphone and camera will be off. - We ask you to leave your camera off unless you are speaking: Cameras use internet bandwidth which, for large groups, can cause problems for some people’s internet connections. - Don't worry about background noise in your space: A volunteer will be monitoring for sound and for mics that have accidentally come on or haven’t been turned off. Feel welcome to be with whoever is around you (pets, people who need care, nursing babies, outside noises). - If you want to speak but forget to or can't turn your mic and/or camera on, please ask Vanessa Lehan for help. If you need to speak and a volunteer has turned your mic off, feel free to turn it back on when needed.

Zoom chat guidelines: We encourage people to use the Zoom chat if they feel comfortable. For the sake of the minutes, and to make sure that everyone is able to follow and contribute to the discussion as a whole in an organized way, a volunteer will be monitoring the chat and will invite you to either speak or have your comment read out loud at an opportune moment. (If it was just a joke or passing comment, just let that volunteer know). Your comment will only become a part of the minutes if it’s read aloud by a volunteer, or if you speak to it in the meeting.

Zoom now has a function that allows people to reply directly to particular messages. In a meeting of this size, however, that can make the chat hard to follow since the chronology becomes blurred. Please avoid replying directly to particular messages, and just enter your comment at the bottom of the chat screen.
