The Department of Philosophy at the University of Windsor Presents Its 7th Annual Graduate Philosophy Conference

Call for Papers

All graduate students interested in participating are invited to submit a ten-to-twelve page paper (with 250 word abstract) for a twenty-minute presentation. Contributions from any area of philosophy are welcome. Submissions should be received no later than January 21th, 2011. Abstracts and papers and any questions should be submitted to: uwgradphil

Submissions should be prepared for blind review. All identifying and contact information must be in the email with the abstract and paper attached. The conference will be held Saturday April 2nd, 2011 in McPherson Lounge, Alumni Hall, at the University of Windsor.
Note: Several monetary prizes will be awarded based on best paper and/or presentation, as well as the Stan Cunningham Prize for Public Philosophy* (see below). There will also be travel bursaries to help offset costs for scholars traversing the greatest distance (i.e. outside Ontario/Michigan). In total, over $1000.00 is available to graduate students selected to present their papers at our conference.

The conference begins on the evening of Friday, April 1st, where there will be a keynote address by Associate Professor of Philosophy:
