The Department of Philosophy at Temple University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor appointment starting in Fall 2018.
AOS: Social and Political Philosophy AOC: Open; Philosophy of Race and/or Philosophy of Gender welcome.
Candidates must hold a PhD by July 1, 2018 or shortly thereafter.

Candidates must demonstrate excellence in, and commitment to, both research and teaching.
The normal teaching load for research-active faculty is two courses per semester. Dissertation supervision and service responsibilities are also expected.

Candidates should include a cover letter, CV, research statement, writing sample, teaching statement, teaching dossier, diversity statement,
and three confidential letters of recommendation.
