Western’s Centre for Women’s Studies and Feminist Research was established in 1987 and has developed a thriving undergraduate program. In 2006, the Centre became a Department in two Faculties (Arts and Humanities; Social Science). The growing Department welcomes its first class of graduate students into the newly established MA program in September 2007.
