We seek an outstanding scholar with a Ph.D. in Philosophy and a demonstrated potential for excellence in both teaching and research. The successful candidate will be expected to teach in the undergraduate and graduate programs, develop a program of research leading to significant peer-reviewed publications, and contribute effectively to research and leadership in the department. Consideration of applications will begin on December 1, 2007. Carleton University is a research-intensive university in Canada’s capital and offers a full range of graduate programs, including a Masters in Philosophy and a Ph.D. in Cognitive Science.
