UNIVERSITY OF WISCONSIN – STEVENS POINT, WI The Department of Philosophy at the University of Wisconsin in Stevens Point, WI invites applications for an Assistant Professor, tenure-track, beginning August of 2015. AOS: Applied Ethics, including Environmental Ethics. AOC: Philosophy of Science. We also have teaching needs in epistemology, medical ethics, and business ethics.
Twelve credit hours per semester. Scholarly research and service as appropriate. Ph.D. expected prior to start of appointment. Candidates should send a letter of application, CV, unofficial graduate transcripts, three confidential letters of recommendation, a teaching statement and evidence of teaching excellence (such as peer and student evaluations and sample syllabi), and a writing sample.
