William Paterson University in New Jersey invites applications for an Assistant Professor of Ethics or Applied Ethics, to teach a variety of specialized undergraduate and interdisciplinary courses in ethics or applied ethics, as well as University Core Curriculum courses in philosophical perspectives or civic and community engagement. Preference for candidates with backgrounds in bioethics or interdisciplinary areas. Ph.D. by time of appointment and college-level teaching experience required. Evidence of scholarly productivity and potential contributions to curriculum development, ongoing assessments, and innovative classroom activities required. Position may also serve the department’s interdisciplinary program in Liberal Studies.
