The Department of Women's, Gender and Sexuality Studies at The Ohio State University seeks a feminist scholar, at the rank of Assistant Professor, whose research focuses broadly on feminist economics, political economies, and/or globalization. Scholars doing interdisciplinary work on critical development studies, environmental studies, ethnographies of globalization, immigration and/or migration, women's and gender health issues, and/or economic formations of gender, sexuality, race, ethnicity and nation are encouraged to apply. We welcome applications from scholars doing research in and across any geographic region. We are looking for a candidate with demonstrated commitment to interdisciplinary research and teaching in Women's, Gender and Sexuality Studies. While a Ph.D. in Women's, and/or Gender and Sexuality Studies is preferred, we welcome applications from related fields. The appointment will begin in fall 2014.
