Westminster College, Salt Lake City, UT: Full-time Assistant Professor of Philosophy starting Fall 2009. 24 hour load. AOS: feminist philosophy. AOC: applied ethics. Seeking a curious generalist to teach introductory and advanced-level philosophy courses in a three-person department. Ability to teach in Gender Studies; on diversity issues; and in team-taught, interdisciplinary Honors courses preferred. Demonstrated teaching excellence at the undergraduate level and Ph.D. required. We favor candidates who can contribute to the College's distinctive educational objectives, which promote interdisciplinary perspectives, intercultural understanding, and concern with social responsibility and the ethical implications of knowledge.
